‘summer thunder mix vol.1′이라는 제목은 농담입니다. 즉, 이 믹스는 번개 믹스입니다. 힙합하는 친구들이 번개송 녹음하는 것처럼요. 당연히 vol.2의 발표도 없습니다. (thunder의 뜻은 천둥이지만 운율상 이 편이 더 재미있어 그냥 썼습니다. 뭐 어떤가요. 어차피 번개 믹스인데. 참고로 이 제목은 한 때 유행했던 summer mega mix와 같은 제목을 패러디한 것입니다.) 본래 목적은 후보정 작업을 거치지 않은 라이브를 그냥 녹음해 올린 뒤 bike stereo에 싣고 라이딩을 하는 것이었으나 다운받아 들으실 분들께는 예의가 아닌 것 같아 약간의 후보정 작업을 거쳤습니다. 만 하루 전 올린 ‘leaving bugahyeon-dong pt.1 (the newtown is not my hometown)’이 never right show에서 3d, lobotomy와 하나의 유닛으로 특정한 컨셉을 염두해 두고 감상용으로 만들었다면 본 믹스는 컨셉 없이 2,3개월 전 쯤 즐겨 들은 곡과 눈에 띄는 곡을 차별 없이 골라 믹스했습니다. 비록 제목은 농담이지만 만들어진 결과물은 농담이 아니라는 것을 여러분의 몸이 증명해 줄 것입니다. 자, 이제 저는 본래의 목적대로 곡을 bike stereo에 싣고 라이딩을 즐기러 가겠습니다. 여러분도 여러분만의 방법으로 부디 즐겨주세요.
